This is Azek Deck series, this time I am going to show you how to install the Thomas&Betts Leviton Red Dot Deck Grommet like a PRO. The Red Dot deck grommet is less than $12 CAD ($10 US) at your local hardware store. But there is one problem, it’s designed for composite and wooden deck, there is no mention about PVC deck, so I am going to do a test before the actual installation. Of course, I will show you the whole installation process. Because my deck is so close to the ground, there is no easy access underneath, I am going to share some DIY tips on how to fish the 120V power cable. Finally I will give you my opinion on how to shop for the best outdoor grade cable on the market. Hope this has some good information if you are planning to build a deck yourself. I hope I can inspire more people to DIY.
